Median total volume loss (in % per decade) is presented using a nonhierarchical model to minimize the influence of priors on group and region-specific rates of change. However, the results were coarsely consistent with the predictions from the dynamical Bayesian hierarchical further presented. (B) Significant rate of atrophy in group differences (HD > control) over a decade around HD motor onset. Decay rate refers to self-connection parameters of regional volume states (see Methods and Materials). Both panels use log scale for illustration. All results are group-level estimates based on longitudinal dynamic modeling and account for effects of age, gender, CAG, and confounds.
