Homocysteine-induced increase in ferritin L and H levels in HUVEC cells. Immunoblotting for A ferritin L and B ferritin H using lysate from HUVEC cells having been treated with 3 mM Hcy for the indicated time periods. Immunoblotting for C ferritin L and D ferritin H using lysate from SH-SY5Y cells having been treated with 3 mM Hcy for the indicated time periods. Blots were stripped and reprobed with anti-β-actin antibody to normalize for differences in protein loading.
