Cell density at the repair site at 14 and 28 days post injury. Cell density was measured using 4’,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole-stained sections. At 14 days, dehydrated amnion/chorion membrane (dACM)-treated tendons had a significantly higher cell density compared with both sham and control tendons. By 28 days there was no observable difference in the cell density between control and sham groups, while the dACM-treated group had a significantly higher cell density compared with both control and sham groups.
a
P<.05 compared with sham group.
b
P<.001 compared with control group.
c
P<.0001 compared with sham group.
dP<.0001 compared with control group.
