Using CTD Anatomy to survey exposomes. The “Exposure Studies” and “Exposure Details” data-tabs on CTD Anatomy pages coalesce (from different publications) all curated measurements for chemicals and gene/protein markers assayed in humans in response to exposures, such as pesticides, air pollution, environmental contaminants, household products, diet, flame retardants, etc. In human serum, 397 exposure studies have been curated that report more than 22,000 measured values for 250 chemicals and 130 genes/proteins. Anatomy terms related to pregnancy, such as human milk, provide a snapshot of the early life exposome.
