Adolescents with a reported mean age between 12 and 16 years from a socioeconomically disadvantaged (or equivalent) background. |
Mean age not between 12 and 16 or special populations (e.g., children with learning difficulties, pregnant adolescents, exclusively obese individuals, or those with a specific health condition). |
Intervention |
The implementation of an intervention related to health literacy (increases health knowledge, understanding, awareness, motivation, confidence) in at least one of the following areas physical activity, sedentary behaviour, dietary habits, sleeping habits, mental health or substance abuse. |
The intervention did not include an educational element or a component targeting health literacy (increases health knowledge, understanding, awareness, motivation, confidence). |
