Fig. 3. CD36 overexpression has a positive impact on proliferation, migration, and invasion of HCC cells.

Fig. 3

CD36-overexpressed (CD36 OE) Huh7 and SK-Hep-1 cells were constructed by transfection of a recombinant lentivirus (Ubi-MCS-3FLAG-SV40-puromycin) containing CD36 cDNA or an empty vector as NC. A Western blotting analysis of CD36 levels in indicated HCC cells, actin was used as the control, the relative quantification of the blots was shown on the right (n = 3). The proliferation of CD36 OE cells or control cells was measured by long time cell dynamic imaging system (B) and EdU assay (C) (n ≥ 5). D Cell cycle analysis was performed after culture for 48 h using flow cytometer (n = 3). E Scratch-wound cell migration assay of CD36 OE or control cells (n = 5). Cell migration (F) and invasion (G) ability was evaluated by transwell assays (n = 5). All data are presented as mean ± SD. *P < 0.05, **p < 0.01, and ***p < 0.001 compared with the NC group. Bar = 100 μm (C, EG). P-value was calculated using Student’s t-test.
