Bio-aerosol refers to micro-droplets, spontaneously produced during exhalation, such as during speaking, singing, and coughing; aerosol refers to nebulizing and inhaling saline for inhalation in the respiratory airways, while saline rinse refers to nasal spraying/oral gargling of saline.
