Table 2.

There is a clear difference in overall survival for patients with IRS values for COX-2 expression in the cytoplasm above 3. Patients with IRS values above 3 live with a median of 52 months, whereas patients with lower IRS values survive 92 months. As the table shows, the survival of patients of both groups differs by 40 months, i.e., more than three years. Even in the total group a survival difference is recorded: patients live a total of 73 months, but still lose 21 months of life with higher IRS values.
