Treg suppression index for CD4+ (A) and CD8+ (B) cells. The suppression index (SI) was significantly reduced in both groups, healthy donors (HD) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients (for both CD4+ and CD8+ cells), when the influence of homeostatic cytokines (IL-7 and IL-15) was accompanied by a strong T cell receptor (TCR) stimulation using anti-CD3 antibodies. There were no significant differences in SI between HDs and RA in all conditions of cultivation. Median and IQR. A comparison of related groups was performed using the Friedman test, post hoc analysis was performed using the Dunn test, and unrelated groups were compared using the Mann–Whitney test.
