S-allyl cysteine (SAC) enhances testosterone production in mice. BALB/c mice were administered SAC at 50 mg/kg body weight intraperitoneally for 6 h. Testosterone level in (A) plasma (n = 6–7) and (B) testis (n = 7–8) was measured by enzyme immunoassay (EIA). (C) Plasma luteinizing hormone (LH) was measured in plasma by ELISA (n = 6).
