It has the same basic structure as the core-OS identified in P. syringae pv. phaseolicola (glycoform 1) [26], but for Pst DC3000 core-OS the observed degree of phosphorylation is significantly higher. Position 2 and 4 of Hep^I or position 6 of Hep^II are occupied by a diphosphate group in a significant proportion (dashed lines indicate nonstoichiometric substitution) and further nonstoichiometric monophosphates at so far unknown positions can be present. To a lesser extent, triphosphate groups are present as well. The terminal Rha moiety is O-acetylated with up to two acetyl groups.
