Mice were fed low-fat diet (LFD) supplemented with cellulose (LFDc) or inulin (LFDi), or high-fat diet (HFD) supplemented with cellulose (HFDc) or inulin (HFDi) for 11 weeks. (a) Microbiota composition was analyzed at the final time point, and principal coordinate analysis of the unweighted Unifrac distance was plotted. (b) Alpha rarefaction was analyzed using the number of observed OTUs, and (c) microbiota was taxonomically summarized at the family level.
