(A) Glyphosate/GBH compounds (green triangle) interact with ER-a (purple) and activates the estrogenic-responsive elements transcription. (B) glyphosate/GBHs alter the gene expression of steroidogenic machinery and decrease the levels of StAR and phosphorylated StAR. (C) glyphosate/GBHs impacts the pituitary homeostasis, changing the production of LH and FSH, as well as in the gonads, impacting steroidogenesis, altering the levels of progesterone, estradiol, and testosterone.
