Increased phosphorylation of Akt promotes trophoblast migration and invasion in HTR-8/SVneo. In galectin-14-overexpressed HTR-8/SVneo, 10 μM SC79 or 10 μM LY294002 was added as the agonist or inhibitor of Akt phosphorylation. (A) The migration and invasion ability of extravillous trophoblasts (EVTs) were examined using transwell migration and invasion assays.
