In vitro luciferase assays with DBP polyplexes. C2C12 cells were transfected with DBP–DNA polyplexes prepared at varying charge ratios with either (A) G5-SMTP or (B) G5. Analysis of luciferase expression was performed 24 h post-transfection. Experiments were performed in triplicate, with the data representing the mean and standard error of the mean.
