Figure 8

Coronal brain sections (200 m thickness) from mice with indicated genotypes were stained for AP. For each genotype, images at the level of the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN, a–d, star), lateral geniculate nucleus (LGN) and olivary pretectal nucleus (OPN) (a1–d1, arrows), pretectal area (PTA, a2–d2, arrow), medial terminal nucleus (MTN, a3–d3, star), and superior colliculus (a4–d4, arrow) are shown. Genotypes are CAG:Dre; ROSA26AP/WT (a–a4), CAG:Dre; Brn3cCKOCre/WT; ROSA26AP/WT (b–b4), Brn3cCre/WT; Brn3aCKOAP/WT (c–c4), Brn3cCre/WT; Brn3bCKOAP/WT (d–d4). Red arrowhead in b2 - Medial Geniculate Nucleus (MGE). Three mice were analyzed for each genotype. Scale bar: 1 mm.
