Receiver operating characteristic curves for differentiating benign and malignant splenic lesions after review of B-mode (continuous line) and CEUS (dotted line) sonograms. For reader 1 (A), the diagnostic confidence increased from 0.622 with B-mode US to 0.908 with CEUS and for reader 2 (B), the diagnostic confidence increased from 0.533 with B-mode to 0.906 with CEUS. The improvement in diagnostic confidence after review of CEUS was statistically significant (p < 0.001) for both readers.
