The grouped error bar graphs show the spectral markers, namely HFa (A) and LF/HF ratio (B) computed over the simulated series as a function of the frame length (i.e., 10, 20, 30, and 40 samples). Indexes were calculated over AR_LF (solid black bars) and AR_HF (solid white bars) series. Data are reported as mean plus standard deviation. The symbol § indicates p < 0.05 across analyses carried out with different frame lengths within the same type of signal (i.e., AR_LF or AR_HF series). The symbol * indicates p < 0.05 between types of series analyzed with the same frame length.
