MiR-320a affects cell cycle progression and apoptosis in A549 cells. (A) Immunoblot assays (a representative blot is shown) were used to determine normalized protein levels of Cyclin D1, p27, Caspase 3, and Bcl-2 in untransfected A549 cells, A549 cells transfected with vehicle control, a miR-320a inhibitor (100 nM), or a mimic (100 nM). All experiments were carried out three independent times. The data are presented as mean ± SEM where *p > 0.05, **p < 0.05 significant differences from vehicle control calculated using paired t-test.
