Phenotype of primary breast cancer cells (3384T). Surface antigen expression of markers related to epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EpCAM, E-cadherin, N-cadherin, vimentin) demonstrated the basal expression of primary breast cancer cells. Additional markers of interest were used to investigate the mechanisms implicated in BCC aggressiveness (CD146, CD49f), migration (CXCR4, CD146), and chemoresistance (CD49f).
