Ribose moieties of nucleotides (2′-O-methyl modified Cm4536 and Am3785 as examples compared with the neighbouring nonmethylated C4537) are much less affected by partial charges (atomic model and cryo-EM map, EMBD entry EMD-3883, at three consecutive contouring levels).
