Seeding in young APP23 transgenic hosts induced different morphotypes of Aβ deposits when different extracts were used for intracerebral inoculations. Note the more punctate appearance of induced deposits with APPPS1 extract, especially in the subgranular cell layer (SGZ) (A, B) in contrast to more filamentous and diffuse Aβ deposits induced with APP23 extract (C, D).
