Values with a column and for the same soil moisture followed by the same letters are not significantly different at P < 0.05. WW means well-watered treatment and SD means soil-dried treatment. CK1 and CK2 mean that deionized water was sprayed on leaves at anthesis under well-watered treatment and soil-dried treatment, respectively. CO(NH2)2, NO3–, and NH4+ represent CO(NH2)2, NaNO3, and NH4Cl, whose concentration was described in the Materials and Methods section. Wmax, Gmax, Gmean, and D mean that the final grain weight, the maximum grain-filling rates, the mean grain-filling rates, and active grain-filling period, respectively.
