Samples were measured on a flow cytometer and analyzed by two-color flow cytometry using a FACSCalibur device and CellQuest software (BD Biosciences, Mountain View, CA, USA). Absolute cell number of CD11b+Gr-1+(high) neutrophils and CD11b+/SiglecF+ eosinophils present in the BALF and lung. The statistical significance of differences between control and treatment groups was assessed by ANOVA and Dunnett’s multiple comparison test. Each point represents the mean ± SEM values for 6 mice. * p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01, and *** p < 0.00, for the OVA control group versus the experimental group comparisons. # p < 0.05, ## p < 0.01, and ### p < 0.001 for the OVA control group versus the normal group comparison.
