Mean diffusion tensor size (E[Diso]) value in this cancer was 1.09 × 10−3 mm2/s, compared to 2.32 × 10−3 mm2/s for the healthy glandular tissue, reflecting a higher cell density within the neoplastic section. Mean diffusion tensor shape (E[D∆2]) value in this carcinoma was 0.64, compared to 0.26 for the healthy glandular tissue, which denotes predominantly elongated components within the cancerous tissue section.
