Photoexcitation of OxDHE liposomes with visible light in the presence of 5,5-dimethyl-1-pyrroline N-oxide (DMPO) as the spin trap DMPO results in superoxide dismutase (SOD)- and catalase-dependent accumulation of DMPO-●OH adducts.
