Balb/c mice were injected intraperitoneally with a single dose of 500 μg/mL of mAb 1A8 or IgG2a control mAb. Three days later, the backs of each mouse received a daily topical dose (62.5 mg) of imiquimod (IMQ) cream formulation. Mice were treated for 7 days. (A) Gross (upper panels) and (B) histopathological (lower panels; representative 20X H&E stained sections of the skin lesions are shown) examination of mice injected with control IgG2a (left panels) or 1A8 (right panels) mAb and treated with IMQ daily for 7 days.
