Cromolyn and F-Cromolyn inhibit the secretion of inflammatory chemokines induced by TNF-α in HMC3 microglia cell line. Quantitative analyses of MSD assays indicate the dramatically increased secretion of IP-10 (CXCL10), MCP-1 (CCL2), MIP-1α (CCL3) and MIP-1β (CCL4) from HMC3 cells treated with TNF α (0.3 µg/mL, 24 h), which are subsequently reduced by cromolyn and F-cromolyn (0.3 µM and 3 µM, each). *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001, and NS (no significant difference).
