Shikimic acid (SA) production by shikimate dehydrogenase with NADPH regeneration by RsPtxD. The reaction solutions contained 20 mM phosphite, 8 mM 3-DHS, 0.1 mM NADP, 0.17 U/mL of SDH, and 20 μg/mL of RsPtxD proteins.
