(A and B) The continuous line shows the linear regression (with 95% confidence interval in dashed lines) between the R/I ratio and the LUS reaeration score in 24 patients with coronavirus disease (COVID-19)–induced acute respiratory distress syndrome with and without airway opening pressure (AOP) >5 cm H2O (A) and in the 16 patients without AOP >5 cm H2O (B). Of note, the R/I ratio is a continuous variable, whereas the LUS reaeration score is a discrete variable in the linear regression.
