a–d Time kill kinetics assays were performed to evaluate the susceptibility of UTI89 (black), ∆cydAB (blue), and ∆appBC∆cyoAB (green) to ampicillin (a), gentamicin (b), ciprofloxacin (c), or a combination of ampicillin and gentamicin (d) at 5x MIC. Data were analyzed by a two-way ANOVA with Tukey’s multiple comparisons test and determined to have no significant differences between strains.
