Target-effector comparisons are concurrently performed in visual (V) and proprioceptive (P) space. These two comparisons are then combined, using the relative weights w_V and w_P, leading to the optimal estimation of the motor vector. (A) Sensory information flow when the hand and target position are perceived through vision and proprioception concurrently.
