Incident rate ratios (IRRs) of contacts with healthcare services by individual, events and diagnosis.

IRRs adjusted for age, gender and deprivation. Individuals refer to a count of individuals attending each service within the period of follow-up. Events refer to the number of contacts: total number of general practice (GP) appointments, emergency department attendances, hospital admissions and out-patient appointments within the follow-up period. No diagnosis was used as the reference group.
