Intravitreally injected gold nanodisks were completely cleared from mice eye within 14 days. After intravitreal injections of gold nanodisks (160 nm) at a concentration of 10 pM, the eyes of mice were evaluated at 6 h, 2 days, 7 days, and 14 days. Obtained cross-sectional OCT images (upper) were processed to produce projectional images (lower) from the marked area between the red dotted lines.
