Exosome internalisation. Exosomes are internalised by the recipient cells and fuse with the intracellular compartments/endosomal pathway for cargo release. Exosomes can be internalised by a clathrin-mediated endocytosis, b lipid-raft mediated, c caveolin-mediated endocytosis, d phagocytosis or e micropinocytosis.
