WW307 triggers the production of ROS in MRSA T144 and E. coli B2. The production of ROS of MRSA T144 (A) and E. coli B2 (B) was determined by 2’,7’-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (DCFH-DA, excitation at 488 nm and emission at 525 nm). Before fluorescence assay, probe-labelled cells were incubated with WW307 at 37 °C for 1 h. (C,D) N-acetylcysteine (NAC) supplementation abolished the antibacterial activity of WW307 against MRSA T144 and E. coli B2.
