A549.Luc cells were implanted into female Balb/c nude mice with LC-MSCs or not. The frequency of lung cancer-initiating cells was calculated by limiting dilution analyses (http://bioinf.wehi.edu.au/software/elda/index.html). In all cases, lung cancer-initiating cells were significantly (p<0.05) more frequent in the co-implanted groups. CI: confidence interval.
