Effect of the Ficus carica cell suspension culture extract (FcHEx) on the cAMP synthesis in skin keratinocytes. The keratinocytes were stimulated with 10 µM of epinephrine alone or with the FcHEx or with a positive control for 30 min and then processed to determine the cAMP content. The reported values represent the averages of three independent experiments and are expressed as the percentages of cells treated with epinephrine only, which was set to 100%.
