Glycyrrhizin treatment reduces SARS-CoV-2 RNA levels in cell culture supernatant. Vero E6 cells were infected with 500 TCID50 SARS CoV-2 and treated with glycyrrhizin at 1 mg/mL. Total RNA was extracted from the supernatants harvested at 0, 4, 8, 24, 28, 32 and 48 h post infection. SARS-CoV-2 RNA was quantified by determining the amounts of the M and N gene using RT-qPCR. All experiments were performed in biological replicates. Error bars displays the standard error of the mean (SEM).
