(a–c) HaCaT cells were treated with various concentrations (2, 4, 8, or 16 μL/mL) of AYC-CS-E (30 mg/mL) for 24 h after being exposed to 8 mJ/cm² UVB irradiation. (a) Elastase inhibition levels were measured in each condition via elastase substrate (N-STANA; N-succinyl-tri-alanyl-p-nitroanilide) treatment, as described in the Materials and Methods section. Type I procollagen (b) and MMP-1 (c) levels in the culture supernatants were analyzed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits.
