Protective effect of MJe on mRNA levels of apoptosis-related genes modulated by 6-OHDA. SH-SY5Y cells were pretreated with MJe for 1 h and then exposed to 6-OHDA 50 µM for additional 24 h and then assessed with real-time PCR. The 2^–ΔΔCT method was employed to calculate the relative quantities of mRNA. Results are expressed as fold change relative to untreated cells.
