PCR products amplified with specific primers annealing to coding exons of CYP19A1, CYP19A2 and CYP19A3. Only transcripts from CYP19A3 were found in testis and in female and male hypothalamus from three to four individuals. CYP19A1 transcripts were not found in any of the samples, and only a weak band of CYP19A2 was amplified in testis of one boar (#1).
