(a): Release of large number of small sized seeds from mature YWW plant; (b): Exudation of SLs by germinating cowpea roots attracting YWW seeds; (c): Germinating YW seed (underground portion lacking photosynthetic machinery) on cowpea roots; (d): YWW growing as parasite along with cowpea plant. YWW plant on maturity produce a large number of seeds which have very little reserve material and have very low survival rate.
