The monacolins indicated in the figure were detected as [M+Na]+ adducts (m/z values for monacolin K acid form, monacolin J acid form, monacolin K, dihydromonacolin K, dehydromonacolin K and α,β-dehydrodihydromonacolin K = 445, 361, 427, 429, 409 and 411, respectively).
