Overall survival in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who received external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) and 90Y selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT). The median survival was 8.64 months and the mean survival was 13.2 months (95% confidence interval, 7.2-19.2 months), determined by the Kaplan-Meier estimator. Survival analysis disregarded whether SIRT or EBRT was delivered first.
