Up-regulation of inflammatory genes in the livers of C57BL/6, MRL+/+ and MRL/lpr mice. Total RNA was extracted from liver tissues and relative mRNA expressions of (A) inflammatory markers [Toll like receptor 4 (TLR4), CD14, MCP-1 and TNF-α] and (B) inflammasome activation markers (NLRP3, caspase-1, ASC and IL-1β) were determined by RT-PCR.
