Data are means of 12 replicates. Different letters in the same column denote significant differences at the P < 0.05 level by Duncan’s new multiple range test (n = 12). In the two treatments, pumpkin seedling leaves were inoculated with P. xanthii, whereas in the two controls, pumpkin seedling leaves were inoculated with sterile water but not P. xanthii.
