Apoptosis in BxPC-3 and MIA PaCa-2 pancreatic cancer cells exposed to chelidonine. The cells were detected using a Guava flow cytometry system (Millipore) after staining with the Annexin V-FITC Apoptosis Detection Kit. The statistics shown are cell percentages represented mainly by early and late apoptosis which is apparent when the percentage of live cells markedly decreases.

Data represent the mean ± standard error of mean (SEM) of 3 independent experiments.
