(a) Incorporation of shB2M coding sequence was demonstrated by PCR analysis of genomic DNA isolated from parental and shB2M-transduced cells. shB2M plasmid was used as a positive control.

(b) Levels of B2M expression in control and modified fibroblasts. B2M mRNA expression was significantly downregulated in WT19 fibroblasts compared with the corresponding mock-transduced controls, both with and without IFNγ treatment (48 h).
