aROI, anterior corneal stroma; pROI, posterior corneal stroma; ROI, entire central corneal stroma; a, v, p: parameters of the generalized gamma distribution.

F stands for F-ratio and it is reported as F (degrees of freedom, error of degrees of freedom), ƞ2 denotes partial eta squared and is a measure of effect size, whereas the asterisk denotes statistically significant results. The numbers of the degrees of freedom of the F-distribution not expressed as integers indicate that the sphericity assumption was not valid and that the Greenhouse-Geisser correction was used.
